Dual Thresholds: The Door Project

Public Art Across Antigua and Barbuda

Antigua and Barbuda Art Week - Dual Thresholds

Dual Thresholds: The Door Project is a destination-wide public art installation at Antigua and Barbuda Art Week, November 11–18, 2026. Developed by Quay Studio & Art Gallery, it transforms more than 20 reclaimed wooden doors into freestanding, double-sided artworks painted by artists from Antigua and Barbuda. Each door draws on the people, landscapes, culture and everyday life of the islands, celebrating creativity, identity and place. Find the doors at the following locations free to experience:

  • V.C. Bird International Airport
  • Redcliffe Quay
  • Makŏ Fine Art Gallery
  • Art and Cultural Village at Julees Restaurant
