St. John’s, Antigua – (May 11, 2026)– The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority successfully hosted its first Culinary Crawl Experience on Thursday evening, showcasing five of Antigua’s top restaurants located on the north side of the island. The event highlighted the destination’s vibrant culinary scene while giving patrons the opportunity to experience a variety of flavours, atmospheres, and signature dishes in one evening.
Participating restaurants included Charr’d, Bay House Restaurant & Bar, Weatherill’s, Sips and Tips, and Bar None. Guests enjoyed a curated culinary journey that celebrated local cuisine, hospitality, and the unique dining experiences offered across Antigua and Barbuda. The crawl was sponsored by Anjo’s Wholesale, who curated the welcome drink cocktail entitled Red Stripe Hibiscus.
“Today’s first Culinary Crawl shows exactly why Antigua and Barbuda has earned recognition as the Caribbean’s Best Emerging Culinary Destination. Culinary Month is about more than dining — it is about celebrating our chefs, local food spots, communities, and the authentic flavours that tell the story of who we are. This experience brings visitors and residents closer to the people and places shaping Antigua and Barbuda’s growing culinary identity.” Said Shermain Jeremy, Special Projects and Events Manager
The Culinary Crawl Experience forms part of the Tourism Authority’s ongoing efforts to promote Antigua and Barbuda as a premier culinary destination and to support local restaurants and tourism stakeholders.
The culinary series will continue throughout May for Restaurant Week with additional experiences scheduled across the island, including:
- Southside Culinary Crawl – May 14
- Eat Like a Local Tour – May 16
