Antigua Sailing Week

Every April, the turquoise waters surrounding Antigua transform into one of the Caribbean’s most exciting sailing arenas as Antigua Sailing Week returns to the island’s historic yachting hub of English Harbour.

Recognized as one of the world’s premier yacht regattas, Antigua Sailing Week has been attracting sailors, spectators and sailing enthusiasts from around the globe since its founding in 1967. Today, the event continues to deliver an unforgettable combination of competitive racing, stunning coastal scenery and vibrant island energy.

Antigua Racing Cup Regatta

April 22 – 26, 2026

The sailing action begins with the Antigua Racing Cup Regatta, a four-day series that showcases some of the best racing conditions in the Caribbean. Crews navigate Antigua’s spectacular coastline while competing across multiple race classes, delivering thrilling on-water action for both participants and spectators.

The regatta course highlights some of Antigua’s most breathtaking locations including:

  • Nelson’s Dockyard – the historic heart of Caribbean yachting
  • Ffryes Beach – a sweeping stretch of white sand and turquoise water
  • Non Such Bay – a protected bay known for its striking scenery
  • Maiden Island / Little Jumby – offering dramatic coastal views and pristine waters

Whether you’re racing, cruising, or simply enjoying the spectacle from shore, the experience is unforgettable.

A Legendary Caribbean Event

Over the years, Antigua Sailing Week has grown into one of the most respected regattas in international sailing, welcoming over 100 yachts, 1,500 sailors and thousands of spectators annually. At its peak, the event attracted more than 200 yachts, cementing Antigua’s reputation as a global sailing destination.

But Antigua Sailing Week is more than just racing. The week brings together sailors, visitors and locals for a lively mix of dockside celebrations, live entertainment, local cuisine and Caribbean hospitality, creating an atmosphere that extends well beyond the finish line.

Race or Cruise in Paradise

Whether you’re competing on the water, chartering a yacht, or watching the sails glide across Antigua’s famous turquoise horizon, Antigua Sailing Week offers an unforgettable way to experience the island.
