ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA TAKE CENTER STAGE AT TTG TRAVEL EXPERIENCE 2025: NEW FLIGHT CONNECTIONS AND ALL THE LATEST TOURISM DEVELOPMENTS PRESENTED

(Milan, ) October 24 2025 – The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority participated in the 62nd edition of TTG Travel Experience, which has just concluded in Rimini.
As Italy’s leading tourism industry event, TTG provided the Caribbean destination with a crucial platform to strengthen its presence in the Italian market and foster closer relationships with local partners.

During the fair, the Tourism Authority held over 25 business meetings with top Italian travel agencies and tour operators and welcomed more than 350 visitors to its stand—further evidence of the growing interest in the destination among Italian travelers.

Representing the destination at TTG was Cherrie Osborne, Director of Tourism UK & Europe at the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, accompanied by key local stakeholders: Alex Emiliani, founder of the DMC Antigua Chiama Italia, and Tiziano Rosignoli, Sales Manager of Passion Village Antigua, a refined complex of luxury villas and apartments.

The event also served as the stage to announce several important updates that will strengthen air connectivity and enhance the destination’s tourism offering.
Starting from November 4, 2025, the direct flight between Frankfurt and Antigua, operated by Condor, will resume. The connection represents an important option for the European market, including Italy, with convenient connections from several Italian cities and Milan Malpensa in codeshare, making access to the islands easier.

ABOUT ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA

Antigua (pronounced An-tee’ga) and Barbuda (Bar-byew’da) is located in the heart of the Caribbean Sea. The twin-island paradise offers visitors two uniquely distinct experiences, ideal temperatures year-round, a rich history, vibrant culture, exhilarating excursions, award-winning resorts, mouth-watering cuisine and 365 stunning pink and white-sand beaches – one for every day of the year. The largest of the English-speaking Leeward Islands, Antigua comprises 108-square miles with rich history and spectacular topography that provides a variety of popular sightseeing opportunities. Nelson’s Dockyard, the only continuously working Georgian era dockyard in the world, and a listed UNESCO World Heritage site, is perhaps the most renowned landmark. Antigua’s tourism events calendar includes the Antigua Racing Cup, Antigua Sailing Week, Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, Antigua and Barbuda Culinary Month, the annual Antigua Carnival; known as the Caribbean’s Greatest Summer Festival and Antigua and Barbuda Art Week. Barbuda, Antigua’s smaller sister island, is the ultimate celebrity hideaway. The island lies 27 miles north-east of Antigua and is just a 15-minute plane ride away. Barbuda is known for its untouched 11-mile stretch of pink sand beach and as the home of the largest Frigate Bird Sanctuary in the Western Hemisphere.
