100 Visits Later: Why Hugh & Jane Call Antigua & Barbuda Their Paradise.

” Antigua and Barbuda isn’t just a destination—it’s home in our hearts.”

When we first set foot in Antigua and Barbuda over 35 years ago, we never imagined it would become our second home. Yet here we are, celebrating our 100th visit to these beautiful twin islands. What keeps us coming back? It’s everything—the golden sunsets at Shirley Heights, the serenity of Barbuda, the joy of Carnival, and the laughter shared at the Lion’s Den.

But more than the beaches and the beauty, it’s the people who make Antigua and Barbuda unforgettable. At Hawksbill Resort, where we’ve spent so many cherished days, the staff welcome us like family. That warmth, that genuine hospitality, is something you can’t find anywhere else.

Each visit gives us new memories, from savoring local treats to watching the island grow and flourish. For us, Antigua and Barbuda isn’t just a destination—it’s home in our hearts. And that’s why we’ll keep returning, again and again, to the place that has given us a lifetime of joy.
