Great value food and drinks in a lovely location

From the perfect yacht club deck, you have a perfect view of the super yachts pulling in and out of the Antigua Yacht Club Marina at Famouth Habour, and can enjoy the view while you dine and drink. The citrusy colour combination of oranges, sunny yellows and limey greens are a delight on the eyes, with fresh flowers, fruits and even the owners outfits complement each other – they can’t help but bring a smile to your face.

Owned by Antiguan Heather Francis, Bar-B’s Restaurant Bar is the same one that was located at Temo Sports for six years and opens this season in its new location at the Antigua Yacht Club and offers a great menu of fresh home made dishes with a strong seafood and Caribbean flavour, as well as a selection of burgers, salads and sandwiches, and a kid’s menu.

For appetizers choose from conch chowder, hand picked Bar-B’s Gumbo crab cakes with coconut sauteé sauce, calamari, garlic and lemon tiger shrimp or seafood agretta; for mains the daily catch, mussels in white wine and seafood platter (for 2 persons) feature daily, and a particular favourite is Creole or Garlic lobster. Creole lobster is half a lobster cooked with peppers, garlic, onions and a few secret ingredients and served with seasoned rice and a fresh crispy salad. For unapologetic meat lovers, don’t despair, burgers and steaks are available daily.
Breakfast is an all together different affair – chose from the full English, Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs with salmon, omelettes, muffins, pancakes or steak and eggs! Customize by adding extra sides, and you have the perfect hangover spot.

Open 7 days a week, breakfast is available from 7am throughout the day and lunch from 12pm – 4pm. Dinner service will start early December.

Happy Hour is 5 – 7pm daily and is EC$5 for house beers, wine and selected spirits. If you are at the bar, you might also get a glimpse of Barbie (the real one) although Heather’s nick name Bar-B was given to her as a baby, her love of co-ordinated outfits has been Heather’s OTHER passion in life.
