Activities on Barbuda
Choose from the relaxing – such as combing the deserted pink & white sand beaches of Barbuda – to the invigorating – such as diving off the shipwreck-strewn reefs.
The island’s resorts also provide for all levels of golf, tennis, snorkelling and diving. Or simply soak up the sun … that’s what it’s there for! Why not take a look at the Beautiful Barbuda guide, to find out greater information on Antigua's sister island Barbuda
Environment & Wildlife
Barbuda’s undeveloped landscape is home to the largest colony of frigate birds in the world. The graceful fregata magnificens possesses the largest wingspan (up to five feet), in proportion to its body size of any bird in the world. Some 5,000 birds make their home in the 8-mile long Codrington Lagoon. An organised visit taking you within a few feet of the nests is a wonderful experience.
Beyond the shore, the spectacular coral reefs offer picture-perfect opportunities for snorkelling and diving.
