St. John’s Antigua (November 17, 2017) – The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and its romance partners have come together once again to celebrate love in Antigua and Barbuda, the most romantic destination in the Caribbean.
While in Antigua, for the Annual Tourism Marketing Strategy Meeting held from November 14 – 16, 2017, US Director of Tourism, Mrs. Kim Jack Riley, surprised her husband Mark Riley, with a vow renewal ceremony at the romantic Villas at Sunset Lane in celebration of their silver anniversary symbolizing 25 years of marriage.
Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority CEO Colin James was the celebrant at the small ceremony which included members and staff from the Ministry of Tourism, the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority (ABTA) and friends. Tameka Wharton, Sales and Marketing Manager in ABTA’s Canadian office serenaded the couple with a rendition of Etta James’ “At Last”.
Antigua and Barbuda is the perfect backdrop for any romantic ceremony. Couples not only get to tie the knot in paradise for the first time, but can also enjoy the natural romantic characteristics of the islands when planning a “do over” wedding or a renewal of vows.
Antigua and Barbuda was recently awarded the Caribbean’s Most Romantic Destination by the World Travel Awards, an award the destination has now held for the third year in a row.
